First of all, why bother sending flowers to someone?
A new boss is taking charge today at the office. After long years of service one of your colleagues is retiring today. Your relatives is going to have a wedding. You are about to visit one of your ailing relative at the hospital today. All of the above calls for a bouquet to be given to them to say that you care in a special way.
Bouquet is used as a mark of respect also. Visiting dignitaries of the state to other countries on their arrival is given bouquet as a mark of respect. The winner of games like Olympics are gifted with a bouquet made out of flower which are unique of that country, of course followed by a medal. Any visit to the relative or friends tomb is not complete unless there is a bouquet to be placed upon there.
A bouquet is a group of flower arranged neatly in a bunch and covered with a cellophane cover (mostly) and they are further beautified with satin ribbons of assorted color or a single color that goes with the color of the flowers. The most preferred flower to make a bouquet is of course, Rose (A bouquet jewel). But if you wish that your bouquet should look fresh for one or two days then a bouquet of Zinnia will be my advice. It is indeed beautiful sight to see a bouquet made of different color of Zinnia with a rose in the centre.
Nothing substitutes the warmth and happiness of giving a bouquet for somebody in person. But if you are far away for a meeting or your beloved is working in another town, still you can show your love and regards by arranging to send a bouquet through a florist. Choose the one that you like most from a range of patterns available with the florist, give the address where it has to be delivered, then your lover or an uncle will receive a bouquet on that date of their birthday or anniversary on your behalf by the florist, of course for a price. Sensing the business opportunity in this, more and more florists are in to these services with branches in various towns or having a working arrangement with the other florists in the different towns.
Sometimes what words can’t patch up can be straightened with a beautiful bouquet and an appropriate written apology along with that. This can be in a strained relationship due to a misunderstanding or an angry lover who didn’t received her lovers call. A beautiful bunch of red roses will patch up the situation in most of the cases.
However, one or two things are to be considered in sending or giving that bouquet to a person. For a known person it is okay to send them, but if one is allergic to flowers then consider some other option as a gift. To the best possible extent give them in person, which will increase the value of the bouquet. If you have received one from somebody, be it through a deliver or in person, remember to send a THANK YOU note or a call to the person as a mark of your gratitude. After all he/she said it with some flowers, isn’t it?
